On 14 November 2018, the Swiss Security Network and Swiss Crime Prevention held a conference in Bern for specialists working for communal and cantonal authorities and for civil society organisations who may be confronted with potential cases of radicalisation in their everyday professional lives.

Around 200 participants discussed the prevention of radicalisation and violent extremism in all its forms, together with the de-radicalisation and reintegration of those affected. The conference was also an occasion for interdisciplinary networking and discussions that went beyond normal communal and cantonal borders, as cooperation within the Network is vital if it is to meet these challenges.
