The Confederation offers a programme to support measures taken by cantons, communes, cities and civil society to implement the National Action Plan through projects and programmes that have the aim of preventing and countering radicalisation and violent extremism in all its forms. The projects and programmes should in particular aim to raise awareness, provide information, spread knowledge, and offer advice and training. For measures by civil society, close coordination with the authorities is a requirement.

Public and private organisations based in Switzerland can apply to the Swiss Security Network for financial support.
