Delegate for the Swiss Security Network
The delegate André Duvillard has been moderating the dialogue in the Swiss Security Network between Confederation and cantons since July 2012.
André Duvillard was elected by the Confederation and the cantons as common delegate. He moderates the dialogue in the Swiss Security Network between Confederation and cantons, elaborates and manages the affairs of the Political Platform, the Operational Platform and the working groups. He directs the Operational Platform, safeguards its concerns in the Political Platform and carries out the assignments of both platforms. He is supported by a branch.
André Duvillard completed his studies in jurisprudence at the University of Neuchâtel in 1987. Then, he served as delegate of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) in Iraq, Israel and the Lebanon. From 1991 to 1997, he served as secretary of the Security Policy Committees (SiK) in the Parliamentary Services. From 1997 to 2012, he was employed by the police force of the canton of Neuchâtel; first as as deputy commander, and from 2005 on as police superintendent.
