On 31 October 2018 the Swiss Security Network (SSN) held its information event, attended by around twenty representatives from the private and public (Confederation and cantons) sectors.

Following a presentation on the current security situation in Switzerland by the Federal Intelligence Service, the SSN delegate reviewed the activities of the past year. The issues of radicalisation and cyber security were considered in more detail.

The Federal Chancellery closed the event with a presentation on the lessons learned from the strategic leadership exercise in 2017, which could be of significance for the Security Network Exercise in 2019.
The event was followed by a reception, which gave the participants a further opportunity to discuss security-relevant issues.
